Abstract / Description
S-40, Slides S-36 to S-46 were copied from originals (B& W photos) taken & provided by Ariel D. Berison. All are of damage or consequences of the Aug. 30, 1962 Cache Valley (Logan) earthquake (actually near Richmond) ML=S.7, damage nearly $1 million. All photos taken in Richmond.
Damage to Lorenzo Bullen's home. Daughter, Carliss Bullen's home. Daughter, Carliss Bullen was in bed when shaking started, she jumped out of bed during the quake and before the bricks fell. She later posed for the photo.
