Abstract / Description
Excessive gradients in this reach prevented much accumulation of debris. Camera on cliffs 300 to 400 feet above channel, looking up main channel below forks. Note scarp to left. Using upper right corner of photo as origin and giving vertical distance first coordinates of important points are: Forks 1 inch, 1.1 inch (right fork drainage upper part), Section 8 3.8 inch, 2 inch (note sluff east bank, see Bk 1, p. 33), Section 9 1.95 inch, 1.40 inch (see Bk 1, p. 35, shows drainage from right, upper right corner, Bk 3, p. 11-13).
